50th Birthday Celebration in Ireland

Ing 7735In July Makers Managing Director, Simon Lamb hit the heady heights of 50!! And to mark this milestone the staff and directors packed him off to Ballybunion in Ireland!

Simon a keen golfer off 9 had never played in Ireland and was astonished when he was presented with the gift to play 2 rounds at the famous links resort at the end of September with a few friends.

Ing 7727“The trip was amazing, the Hotel Teach de Broc was first class with Seamus supplying first class food and the odd joke!  The old and cashen courses were stunning and I was shocked to find the club had supplied me with my own senior caddy on account of my ageing eyesight,

Ing 7780but to be honest Pat Mahoney was full of great stories being the ex-local bobby, but he couldn’t read a putt to save his life…..”

“As playing golf experiences goes this is right up there.  I was fortunate to visit the Masters this year but playing championship links is a thrill.  We were really lucky with the weather, it could have been a whole different story, but I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone, not just to play golf, but sample the Irish hospitality and beaches.”Ing 7788
