Festival 8The customer interface areas will be enhanced to provide a new system of applelec signage and information transfer to visitors and customers to the Festival Place shopping centre.

This multi million pound investment is only part of the investment measures and exciting projects to be introduced at Festival Place.

“We are delighted to have an insight into the aspirations for Festival Place by AEW; there is a great deal of excitement about the future development of the town centre”

Laura Taylor, Executive Director of Borough Services

The refurbishment and modernisation programme will create a more inspiring shopping and dining experience which will lead to increases in both dwell time and footfall with the introduction of key retail brands and restaurants, together with enhanced car park facilities.

“Makers were working on the old multi storey when the centre was being built, so to return some 15 years later to transform the centre car parks is a fabulous opportunity”

Simon Lamb, MD

Festival Place is located 5 minutes from Junction 6 on the M3 and serves a population of 1.7 million within a 30 mile radius.  Home to 50 European Business Headquarters, housing some 60,000 office workers.  The investments by AEW are a testament to the strength of the town and future of the centre ranked 7th most affluent with in the UK.
