intu Retail Awards Total Success

The Jury’s Inn was the venue for the intu Retail Awards 2019 Milton Keynes. Over 250 people attended the Awards to celebrate all that is good and great within retail accumulating in the Retailer of the Year Award presented by Makers own Operations Director Mr Darren Wootton.

With a Champagne reception, nominees, guests and sponsors gathered to be received by host James Redmond who has starred in many a TV programme from Hollyoaks to 8 out of 10 Cats.

As headline sponsor Makers were invited on stage to present two awards, Health and Beauty which was won by Rush and Retailer of the year won by Victoria’s Secrets.

The night was punctuated with comedy sketches and operatic singing provided by 3 waiters and although singing in a combination of Italian and French did well to disguise their English Wigan roots.

The event was a total success with 36 nominees being showcased and eventually resulting in 12 ecstatic winners who were invited on stage to receive their awards.

Raffle tickets and fancy dress photo booth opportunities were presented to win donated prizes together with mementos of the evening. After the Awards guests, winners and attendees attended the B at One Club venue for the after party.
