All Rosey in the Garden

England & Australia at TwickenhamClients and Directors of Makers attending the new Twickenham Rose Garden facility to watch England in their quest to beat Australia in the last of the final games of the Quilter Series.

The facility has been constructed at the roof-top of Twickenham and provides birds eye view of the game and provides relaxed informal areas of live music and street food prior to dinning and after the game and of course the odd “wines” or two!

“I would like to thank those clients who were able to join us and enjoy the day… we appreciate that taking time out of the weekend has its difficulties but we are delighted they could participate in the celebrations…

After what could be called a fast start with an early England try the game became a scrappy hard-fought affair with both teams committing to the tackle. Although the scores were level at half time England found their feet running and outright winners 37-18 with tries from May, Daly, Cokanasiga and Farrell.

The victory over Australia sees England both win and lose 6 games in the 12 game 2018 Season, however 4 wins in their last 5 games will provide some much-needed momentum as they head into World Cup Year.

Darren

With the Quilter Series of Internationals coming to an end with some measurable games the Home Nations is just around the corner which again see some highly contested games in what will be a pivotal year for Makers and England.
