Situated in the village of Rainham, Rainham School for Girls is a technology college with 1554 pupils between the ages of 11-18. The school is part of The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT), TKAT is one of the largest Multi-Academy Trusts in the South of England with over 40 Primary and Secondary Academies.

With Makers continued success with Academy work all operatives must be DBS checked. The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) helps employers make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups, including children.

Seven different roof areas had been identified that required attention as there were obvious signs of water ingress in to the classrooms below, the areas were a mix of mono pitched and flat roofs.
