Their application of the Triflex system has both visually and technically improved three roofs that were previously beyond serviceable life. The use of a cold-applied system has meant that the works have been carried out without the need for ‘hot’ works at any stage which is a major benefit in health and safety terms. This liquid-applied solution has also helped overcome a complex detailing. Makers’ technical knowledge and competence in being able to overcome a number of complex challenges on this project was impressive.”

I have project managed a few projects in my short career but the pragmatic approach of Makers, the focus on the end product and determination to resolve any issues that arose on site made it one of my most successful projects. Above all, it was a joy to work closely with your Contract Manager Kenny, his firm but effective managerial skills, knowledge on car park refurbishment and willingness to engage to resolve issues as they arose are impressive. Chris extensive knowledge of the electrics was extremely useful and Matt Hewetson was always on time to ensure the numbers added up. I don’t believe the project would have been delivered at the time and cost at which it was delivered without such expertise and I am proud to have been part of it. I am also glad that senior management were on hand to offer support whenever challenges arose.
