Makers Celebrate 25 years of the CRA.

Makers a founder member of the Concrete Repair Association celebrated its 25th year in style in the Strangers Room at the Houses of Parliament.

The venue had been sponsored by Erdington Birmingham’s MP Jack Dromey who during the day had addressed members during the CRA’s AGM.  The dinner was hosted by new incoming chairman Jack Perry from EPMS, who replaced Ken Dykes.

The celebration was a great opportunity to bring together those Makers employees and directors who had been involved in the creation of the CRA and reunite them with previous colleagues.  Jim Maker a previous Managing Director of Makers and founder member was joined by other retirees including Brian Dargan and Geoff Brown, as well as a host of ex Makers employees still active in the industry.

“it was great to see such an ensemble, many many years of experience and expertise under one roof….reliving tales of old and remembering those characters that have made both the company and industry what it is….”

Simon Lamb – Managing Director

“a fabulous evening, my God, it was truly remarkable meeting old colleagues, it was like yesterday…many thanks to Simon and his team, so pleased to be invited..”
