Matrix Solutions Enters Administration

Matrix LogoMatrix Solutions entered Administration last week leaving customers and Clients contemplating the financial implications.

Formed in 2002 via a MBO from Connaught Group, Matrix operated from three office locations, in Taunton, Bristol and London, servicing various refurbishment sectors.  Difficult trading in 2012 in their Social Housing and London fit out sectors had a major contributing factor to the appointment of Administrations Grant Thornton.

“Matrix were always considered strong competition in the sectors we both operated in.  Understandably we have been contacted by many employees desperately seeking employment, which is distressing for them and their families.  We have been able to accommodate some, but unfortunately many will remain unplaced”.
– Darren Wootton, Operations and Technical Director

“It is never ideal when a competitor goes into Administration as the fallout is usually greater and the knock on affect for suppliers and sub-contractors can have devastating consequences.  Obviously this is a worrying time for everyone connected in the process and we are already receiving enquiries from concerned Clients and suppliers of Matrix”.
– Stuart Rooker, Financial Director

Makers are available during this difficult time to offer help and assistance.  To discuss your contract needs please contact us on enquiries@makers.biz where one of our team will be waiting to assist you with your project needs.
