Makers at the 2013 BPA Awards

Makers at the 2013 BPA Awards

Hosted by the Revd Richard Coles at the Lancaster Hotel, London, Makers attended for the 11th year in succession. Having won the “Best Refurbishment” category on 4 previous occasions, Makers entered the highly complex project at Castlegate Shopping Centre, Stockton on Tees which had undergone a major structural refurbishment incorporating electro chemical treatments, protective anticarbonation coatings, resin membrane decks and complete customer experience overall.

The Castlegate project was selected by the BPA panel as a short listed finalist against 5 other entries in a very competitive field.

The event was attended by the Makers Construction team involved with the project and the Client sponsoring the project.

Unfortunately Makers didn’t add a 5th title but the Client was delighted with the outcome and the interest in the BPA.

Here’s to next year when Makers will have an excellent contender for winner of the Best Refurbishment 2014.

“it is not always possible to win, it’s great when it happens, but the team are delighted that our Client has experienced the Makers experience and perhaps this will encourage more investment for the future…”
