Makers Views Latest German Technology

IMG 7528Whilst the talk of the town was Volkswagens admission of cheating tests and crib notes, German manufacturers were somewhat surprised by the revelation given the German psychic is on the engineering excellence.

With over 115 exhibitors, the trade show unveiled its latest German technology at the Estrel Convention Centre in Berlin hosted by Dr. Karl Ludwig Ballreich, President of the German Parking Association.

“The German approach is significantly different to ours and market pressures they experience are in contrast to those of the UK”

Matt Hewetson, Senior QS

Img 7531Many of the products and manufactures are familiar to the UK Market which is no doubt a reflection of the parking operators who operate across Europe.  Ing 7536In some ways Parken is similar to Parkex but just with a strong German approach, but see the UK Market with a strong potential for growth.

“Most of our key product lines are manufactured in Germany, so to meet key suppliers, discuss new ideas, opportunities and market segmentation is always beneficial.

Simon Lamb, MD
