Makers “Check Up” at the Healthcare Estates Conference

Healthcare EstatesMakers attended the Healthcare Estate Exhibition to promote concrete repairs and cold applied liquid roofing systems to the 1500 delegates that attended the 2 day event.

The event held at Manchester Central Convention Complex was the former Manchester Central railway station and many of its original details have been retained to provide a distinctive environment in which to exhibit.

The Healthcare Estates focuses on the maintenance and repair of NHS Trust Property whilst providing delegates the Healthcare 7opportunity to view new products to market and discuss potential issues estate managers may have.

All aspects of Hospital creation and maintenance were discussed from modular operating theatres to BIM analysis and maintenance planning.

The main message of the 2016 event was transforming the estate through collaboration which saw the launch of procure 22 and its successful principle supply partners in the Department of Health’s capital framework.  The key focus is on cost time predictability, through customer satisfaction, defect free and safe working, we are looking to establish a stronger supply chain with guaranteed maximum pricing, open book accounting with central monitoring and information sharing.

The free to visit theatres provided expert sessions on BIM, energy and efficiencies within hospitals, and engineering and maintaining structures.
